SALES ASSISTANT

We are looking for people to join our shop floor sales team on a part time basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES

–  Able to communicate effectively with customers
–  Assist with up keep of stock inventory with precision
–  Maintain and keep inventory room organised
–  Uphold store merchandising and cleanliness standards
–  Manage replenishment of shop floor

–  Work productively and take initiative

–  Great social and interpersonal skills
–  Previous experience in a retail environment preferred

INTERN - MEDIA CONTENT

We’re currently on the hunt for exceptional writers with a penchant for social media and creative marketing practices.

Our mission is to inform readers on our products, style, food, design, travels & neighbourhood related news, inspire and refine them through our editorial content and guide them to places we’re currently coveting in Antwerp & abroad.

RESPONSIBILITIES

–  Write copy for the website that highlights our products
–  Curate, research, design, and write blog posts on topics relevant to the readership
–  Knowledge of web writing tactics and how to optimize for SEO
–  Establish our editorial standards and calendar
–  Round up news about our projects and partnerships for email subscribers
–  Write press releases
–  Preparation of our monthly newsletter
–  Preparation of our bi-annual gazette
–  Running all of our social media platforms (instagram, Facebook and pinterest).
–  Assisting in the logistics of offline events.
–  Scouting style and lifestyle influencers to follow and feature.
–  Researching publications and brands we can collaborate with.
–  Contacting designers, restaurants, etc, for features.
–  General PR/Communication responsibilities such as press acquisition.

REQUIREMENTS

–  An organized self-starter
–  Understanding st. vincents products, culture and aesthetics
–  An exceptional creative writer with a passion for food, design and travels
–  An Antwerp maven
–  A content junkie, constantly scouring new blogs and aesthetically driven brands
–  Willing to go beyond general responsibilities because you’re driven by company growth
–  Interested in photography
–  Photoshop or illustrator savvy, or willing to learn how to do basic graphic design

COMPENSATION:

Interns are expected to work 20 hours per week and attend additional events as needed for a duration of 6 months. Internships are non-remunerated however, there is the possibility of growth within the company after the internship period expires and we’ll be more than happy to help you receive college credit.

INTERN - MARKETING AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Digitally-driven individual interested in gaining experience in strategy development and implementation? We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, motivated marketing intern.

RESPONSIBILITIES

– Social Media Management: Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest
– Retail Growth Strategy: identify target audiences and sales opportunities, research and outreach to potential consumers
– Content creation and styling: work with other interns to ideate and create visual and written content for social media
– Knowledge of web writing tactics and how to optimize for SEO
– PR: build our relationships with influencers and bloggers in the fashion, food and design community through research and creative outreach
– Campaigns: plan, execute, and analyze marketing campaigns
– Events: Organize and promote events

REQUIREMENTS

– Love for and deep understanding of social media for day-to-day management of st.vincents Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram and Twitter
– Relevant experience in marketing, sales, retail, and/or outreach
– Excellent writer with a keen interest in style, development, and who possesses a global mindset
– Flexible, creative, forward-thinking, and responsible
– Interest in or basic experience in design (layouts, type)

INTERN - PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHER / VIDEO

We’re currently looking for a self-starting photographer and/or video intern to join our team. Help us create a unique online brand presence and story. The ideal candidate has a strong in-studio photography background as well as retouching experience. You must be able to create consistent imagery across all of our product categories while finding ways to push our brand aesthetic forward.

RESPONSABILITIES

– Establish st. vincents imagery standards and guidelines
– Visual content: work with other interns to plan and execute photoshoots developing visual content for social media, email newsletters, website, and online ads
– Video Content: Create behind the scenes videos, product videos, or style guides. Come up with creative ways to use video to showcase our product and help define the role of video in our digital marketing
– Social Media: Create visual content for Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and Website; be at the forefront of new social media trends and networks for photo/video
– Light and shoot on-figure as well as product e-commerce photography to be used on our website
– Retouch figure model + product imagery to ensure all e-comm assets are site-ready
– Upload and maintain consistent imagery to st.vincents online presence (e-commerce & social media).
– Upload and manage st. vincents online inventory
– Write accurate product descriptions
– Maintain in-house studio and photo equipment, helping to create a streamlined studio work-flow
– Ensure imagery is consistent and of high-quality
– Shoot editorial flats
– Initiate, plan and execute continuous improvements where necessary across the department

REQUIREMENTS

– Solid portfolio of in-studio photographic and retouching work
– Strong knowledge of lighting and composition
– Produce high quality digital images in line with established standards for use across multiple formats
– Knowledge of lighting equipment, set-ups and shoot software
– Both on-figure and product flat photography skills are a plus
– Advanced Photoshop skills
– Eagerness to learn new skills and excitement around upholding and honing in on the st. vincents aesthetic
– Detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
