Art, Paintings, Wayne PateAcrylic and paper collage on arches paper. Wayne Pate’s paintings share an affinity with the concept of a road trip. One which starts with a planned route but then meanders off in pursuit of intrigue and the kind of authenticity which follows on the heels of spontaneity. A native of the US, Wayne is currently located in New Zealand (as life imitates art) and his recent collection of works, while anchored by the visual representation of ancient architectural motifs, engaging collage, polychromy and colours reminiscent of natural patinas, echo’s an essence of the intrepid and the vibrant spirit of serendipity.*This item is not available for purchase online. Art, Ceramics, Simone NegriUnique ceramic sculpture by Simone Negri. The universal classicism ardently desired by Simone Negri stands out for its penetrating diffusion of the element of time. In his interpretation and representation of the present ideal, once again, what must happen, will happen. How architecture feeds the imagination of art. Despite the fundamental functions that architecture must perform, the best examples continue to inspire artists across all genres with their masterful use of space, harmony and proportion. Agona Platform Vessel
Homeware, Art, Collectible objects, Goods, Objects, Sculptures, Studio Anansi, VesselsAt once rooted in tradition and embracing of new design languages, Studio Anansi explores the beauty of blackness through collectible objects that deftly harmonize simplistic form and complex tactility. Meeting at the intersection of art and design, each piece is made from wood – chosen for its tactile and yielding nature – and revisits traditional craft in a thoroughly modern way. After being hand-turned, the sculpted objects undergo a specialized burning process that results in an appearance that manages to be both fluid and static, and one that intentionally conveys the struggles, events, love, loss, pain, suffering and – above all – beauty that the black body endures. Please contact us for further inquiries.

Art, Marijke De Cock, PaintingsMarijke De Cock lives and works in Antwerp, where she previously studied Fashion at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. She has been working for years as a designer within the team of Dries Van Noten, where she specialises among other things, in the conception and creation of exceptional ornaments and jewellery. An engagement that in a sense inspired her personal practice, by adopting an established craft that is usually related to the garment it is meant to serve, yet which she allows to function autonomously and in full. It is an ancient and traditional, time-consuming technique – involving working with glass beads and passed from generation to generation – which she sensibly juxtaposes with her fascination for the hand that, as it were, moves by itself, seems to make its own decisions, and transcends thought. It all together manifests itself in distinctive series of abstracted, intuitive wall sculptures which, adorned with beads, above all celebrate the desire to create, using a material that goes back thousands of years, motivating us from childhood onwards to invent ornaments with it, to embellish a person or a place.*This item is not available for purchase online. Baumbench
Furniture, Art, Kaspar Hamacher, Sculptures, Seating, Stool, Bench & PoufBench by Kaspar Hamacher Taking nature as his basis, Kaspar Hamacher is focused resolutely on physical rather than conceptual design. As he says himself, he feels more craftsman than designer. The things he can do with wood appeal to the imagination: whether it is a tree stump or a piece of leather, the key is authenticity in every step of his design process. Hamacher’s working method always results in a unique, personal piece. A piece of design with a deeper meaning; with a soul..*This item is not available for purchase online. As he says himself, he feels more craftsman than designer. The things he can do with wood appeal to the imagination: whether it is a tree stump or a piece of leather, the key is authenticity in every step of his design process. Art, Paintings, Wayne PateAcrylic, Massimoalba shipping paper on arches paper. Homeware, Art, Collectible objects, Goods, Objects, Sculptures, Small Storage, Studio Anansi, VesselsAt once rooted in tradition and embracing of new design languages, Studio Anansi explores the beauty of blackness through collectible objects that deftly harmonize simplistic form and complex tactility.

Untitled Sculpture 01
Art, Leo Lopez, SculpturesMarble Sculpture by Leo Alessandro Lopez Leo is a Swedish-Costa Rican artist which expressed himself in various ways, one of which is sculptural work. The marble stone, which resembles a big piece of meat, is part of the series '1000-year-old-stones'. The seed for this series was planted during a cultural visit in Italy, where religious people kiss/touch a certain part of a statue/sculpture, making it soft and shiny over time. Leo took this idea further and envisioned the Greek myth of Sisyphus, where the eponymous character is condemned for eternity to push a huge rock to the top of the mountain, for having challenged God. But each time, when almost reaching the top, the stone falls down. With the Sculpture, Leo envisions how this rock would look like, after these hundreds of years touching the same part of the stone, smoothing the surface.*This item is not available for purchase online. Chipped black coffee table
Furniture, Art, Kaspar Hamacher, Low Table, Sculptures, TablesCoffee table by Kaspar Hamacher Taking nature as his basis, Kaspar Hamacher is focused resolutely on physical rather than conceptual design. Ex Hale Wallpiece for St. Vincents
5/5/5, Art, Ben Storms, SculpturesEx Hale Wallpiece in casted glass as part of the 5/5/5 Exhibition. An assemblage of 5 objects by 5 designers, celebrating 5 years of St. Vincents. With complete freedom and over a year in the making, the result is an original and inspiring assemblage of objects that eschew trends and reflect the unique narratives of their makers. After exploring metal and marble, this time he chose to research glass, casting it instead of blowing. It gives the glass a density akin to natural stone, defying the transparency and lightness we have come to associate with it. The process of moulding used for this piece bears similarities to the lost mould technique used in bronze casting. Small, visible marks have been left untouched as a witness of the making. This unique Ex Hale Wallpiece is Ben’s first foray into colour. Art, Ligia Poplawska, PhotographyWhat happens if we lose our senses? Fading Senses is a research project and a photographic essay by Ligia Poplawska reflecting on sensory deprivation and environmental anxiety. Solastalgia is a relatively new concept for understanding the implications of the loss of ecosystems on our emotional health. Described as an earth-related state, it reflects the zeitgeist of our time and is an increasing problem in societies, manifesting itself in a feeling of loss of the present. A perspective of a fading world and a state of fading-away is close to sensory deprivation. Absence of senses, one of the biggest human fears, can lead to intra-mental perception, echolocation and memory flashbacks. Through a speculative narrative, the photographer creates a mental image of an ungraspable sensation to underline human disconnection from the natural environment. Ligia Popławska (1994, Poland) is a photographer and art historian based in Antwerp, Belgium. Working at the intersection of art and science, she creates visual narratives analysing parallels between senses and memory, emotional states and conditions of the present. She explores fields like psychology, neuroscience or biology to find a basis for her speculative photographic storytelling and olfactory works. Ligia holds an MA and BA in Photography from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp (BE) and a BA in art history from the University of Gdańsk (PL). Her work was exhibited at the graduation show hosted by FOMU Antwerp, selected for ‘To Be Antwerp’ art festival and ‘New Talents 2020’, a group exhibition at B-Part Gallery in Berlin by Photographic Exploration Project. She is a laureate of ‘Photography Prize 2020’ funded by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp. Architecture de la nuit jouese
Art, Caroline DenervaudCaroline Denervaud is a Swiss Multi-disciplinary artist who lives in Paris. She studied dance at the Laban Center in London and Fine Arts in Paris at Studio Berçot. It begins with a line, guided by the body’s movement or by hand. The trace left on paper or canvas will be my foundation, a reference. Followed by the second line, this time more aware, that links the traces and draws the forms. The application of colour now begins, playing with harmony and contrast, a study of balance-imbalance. Each painting is born from an intrinsic movement and finally reflects a game when colours have hidden the trace to recreate their own abstract dialogue.*This item is not available for purchase online. A graceful design metaphor handcrafted in white stoneware, the Thesium vase can be used to cherish at home the beauty of plants in two distinct ways: as a decorative piece on its own or as a support of ever-changing floral arrangements. InHale Wall Piece
Art, Ben Storms, SculpturesIn Hale Wallpiece is a work that reflects light. Made of inflated stainless steel, brass or copper—a technique of which the results are always unpredictable—it takes the shape of a cushion. Storms inflates sheet metal against a piece of stone and thereby transforms it into a three-dimensional shape which echoes the shape of the stone. This process not only changes the look but also the structural properties of the metal. He first explored this idea for the In Hale table, where the cushion supports a massive block of marble. Here, the cushion is left by itself and placed against the wall. Like other works by Ben Storms, it defies our archetypical preconceptions of materials, shapes and functions: the solid and heavy metal here looks soft and functions as some sort of mirror by reflecting light in a poetic manner. Edition of 8 + 2 A.P. Variations of In Hale Wallpiece can be custom made.*This item is not available for purchase online. Please contact us for further inquiries or orders.

Absence of senses, one of the biggest human fears, can lead to intra-mental perception, echolocation and memory flashbacks. Through a speculative narrative, the photographer creates a mental image of an ungraspable sensation to underline human disconnection from the natural environment. Der Monolith
Kaspar Hamacher, SculpturesMonolith by Kaspar Hamacher - Sculpture Taking nature as his basis, Kaspar Hamacher is focused resolutely on physical rather than conceptual design. As he says himself, he feels more craftsman than designer. The things he can do with wood appeal to the imagination: whether it is a tree stump or a piece of leather, the key is authenticity in every step of his design process. Hamacher’s working method always results in a unique, personal piece. A piece of design with a deeper meaning; with a soul. Currently, one monolith in stock.*This item is not available for purchase online. Please contact us for further inquiries or orders.

Thesium Vase
Homeware, Art, Ceramics, Cosmin Florea, VesselsInspired by the love for pristine nature, this large sculptural vase channels the organic shape of plants. A graceful design metaphor handcrafted in white stoneware, the Thesium vase can be used to cherish at home the beauty of plants in two distinct ways: as a decorative piece on its own or as a support of ever-changing floral arrangements. Glazed only inside to make it watertight, the exterior remains natural, complimenting the light texture. Untitled 1
Homeware, Art, Ceramics, Linda Ouhbi, VesselsBorn in Casablanca and currently living in Paris, Linda Ouhbi became acquainted with pottery in an atelier in Marrakech during a stay in her native country. Linda creates pieces in stoneware using a hand building and coil technique. This ancestral process requires a slow construction and permits the development of a relationship with each piece of artwork. Linda`s work questions the ideas of function and utility, but above all, the notion of time and progress. The earthy-used aspect of her ceramics results from glaze research undertaken in the ceramicist’s workshop using raw natural materials of minerals, metal oxides and rocks, enamel recipes developed in her workshop giving each piece of artwork a sensation of aged patina.*This item is not available for purchase online.
