Sphere Large
Art, Kaspar Hamacher, SculpturesSphere by Kaspar Hamacher Taking nature as his basis, Kaspar Hamacher is focused resolutely on physical rather than conceptual design. As he says himself, he feels more craftsman than designer. The things he can do with wood appeal to the imagination: whether it is a tree stump or a piece of leather, the key is authenticity in every step of his design process. Hamacher’s working method always results in a unique, personal piece. A piece of design with a deeper meaning; with a soul..€4.500,00 incl. VAT*This item is not available for purchase online. AE Haring Dining Table
Dining Table, TablesThe story of this table started a few years ago with college friends Arno Broeckhoven, Ellen Van Laerwith (AE Studio) and Frank Stabel (Haring). While in the process of designing their communal office/dining table they came across some waste materials, recuperated from a local production line. The materials recovered determined the possibilities and characteristics of their final design.
Sustainability is at the core of what they do thus, reusing leftover materials is a crucial element of the design & production. Despite the laborious task of sorting and assembling, the tabletop is made out of solid oak slats found in heaps of wood scraps of a small sawmill that sources their wood within the region of Antwerp, Belgium. The selected oak slats are then laminated into a stretcher bond and are meticulously torched and oiled (a natural way to preserve and protect the wood). The charring of the oak renders a deep charcoal-black that reveals clean, distinct lines and an inherent textural beauty. The blackened steel trestles are naturally treated and detailed with custom brass caps and screws.*This item is not available for purchase online.  Please contact us for inquiries or orders.

Ceramic 1
Ceramics, Maria Kristofersson, VesselsSwedish ceramic artist, Maria Kristofersson’s drawings are a basis for her work in clay. Her works can be described as three-dimensional drawings, in which texture, lines, and shadows are crucial elements of her work. Stackable Stools
Furniture, Seating, Side Table, Stool, Bench & Pouf, TablesThese stackable stools or side tables are made out of pine plywood and are manually coated and coloured. Arranged individually, their elementary forms subtly transform an interior space and add a new rhythm. Otherwise, when multiple stools are combined, they allow one to create voluminous columns, dividing walls, benches and platforms – configurations with either a utile or sculptural quality. Please contact us for further inquiries.
