Since 2010, Samantha Hauvette and Lucas Madani have been working on high-end projects in France and abroad. ​

A masterpiece of craftsmanship, the Kuro collection is Lukas Cobers debut in furniture design and making. Studio Cober started with a small leather collection, where the idea of a stretched leather as shape for the Kuro collection was first conceived.
Studio Cober is an interdisciplinary design studio for objects of aesthetic expression through shape and materiality. Lukas Cober emphasizes the value and beauty of the chosen raw material to create minimalistic objects that remain timelessly beautiful.

AE Haring Dining Table
Dining Table, TablesThe story of this table started a few years ago with college friends Arno Broeckhoven, Ellen Van Laerwith (AE Studio) and Frank Stabel (Haring). While in the process of designing their communal office/dining table they came across some waste materials, recuperated from a local production line. The materials recovered determined the possibilities and characteristics of their final design.
Sustainability is at the core of what they do thus, reusing leftover materials is a crucial element of the design & production. Despite the laborious task of sorting and assembling, the tabletop is made out of solid oak slats found in heaps of wood scraps of a small sawmill that sources their wood within the region of Antwerp, Belgium. The selected oak slats are then laminated into a stretcher bond and are meticulously torched and oiled (a natural way to preserve and protect the wood). The charring of the oak renders a deep charcoal-black that reveals clean, distinct lines and an inherent textural beauty. A duel between fragility and strength: the Cesta Metálica is the updated version of the Cesta, with its own distinct features. It comes with or without a smooth leather handle; a stark contrast to the stern, rigid structure, that gently holds an opal globe withÂout neck. Miguel Milá mastered the strength of steel by placing at its centre a delicate opal silhouette, and a touch of soft leather. A seamless expression of strength and emotion, combined with everyday practicality. The lantern is produced manually by European craftsmen, using traditional glass blowing techniques for its opal shade.
